New York is one of the cities which has been at the top of my ‘must visit’ list for years. I was recently lucky enough to get a free trip there for 3 days… I say free, I spent a day in a data centre building our my $dayjob’s New York POP, but essentially free! What an awesome city! I was staying on Wall Street just by ground-zero. Its a very powerful site! Below are a bunch of snaps I took with my point-and-shoot (Between belts of rain!).

I was recently lucky enough to obtain a ticket to the British Grand Prix 2011 qualifying at Silverstone. Massive thanks to Karl Dyson who gave myself and Alex tickets to go! What a cracking day out. Saw some F1, GP2/3 and Porsche cup cars. Weather held out for most of the day so that we could see some spectacular sights!
I was kindly donated a pair of tickets for this last weekends GT1 at Silverstone. What a brilliant day out. Some fantastic cars, my first look at the new Silverstone pits and brilliant weather (if not a little windy!)
Until August last year, I was the proud owner of a Golf 25th Anniversary Edition… Number 1498. I then stupidly sold it and bought a BMW e90 325i M-Sport… This in itself isn’t a problem, as the BMW is a lovely car… its pretty poor on Fuel, but thats to be expected when you have a glorious 6-pot up front… but its just not the same as my Golf. I’ll be a golf owner again. That’s a fact.
Not long back from a cracking weekend of camping for the 4th Annual CharrettFest. This was our first time attending, with a bunch of collegues and friends of friends at Buddens Farm in Dorset for Alex’s Birthday. Cracking weekend of camping, BBQ and beer (well, Cider)!
It’s been quite some time since i’ve had a blog. So here I am again, thinking of things to write… My aim is to blog about technology bits and bobs I come across in my work as a Network Engineer for a large enterprise. Its more of a place to store information for me… if you find it useful, then thats a bonus too!
